Mending The

Soul( certification in-progress)

Mending the Soul has created curricula to walk survivors of abuse and trauma through the healing process gently and holistically. We provide materials and small group connection with trained leaders to facilitate healing from the inside out.  We have three certified leaders that have received extensive training to help survivors of child abuse, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and domestic abuse.

We have a small team that has received training and is passionate about building relationships in our county.  We want to become active citizens in our community to help eradicate the issues of sexual abuse, child abuse and domestic along with managing life challenges.

We believe in the spiritual foundation and unconventional programs that have a high success rate to help complex trauma with the support of our local church body and biblically-based counseling and ministry.

We included additional organizations that we work with closely:

AVA (ECC-PSWC) Covering the Central Valley, Bay Area, North Bay, South Bay, East Bay churches.

  • No More

  • San Joaquin End-It

  • SJC Task Force Human Trafficking

  • Workvine209

  • Uneed2

AVA

Trained and facilitators

Advocacy for Victims of Abuse (AVA) was established in 2003.  The work with our local church in which we are supported by has been established since 1961 via the ECC.

As a faith-based, organization it is important to share that all our counselors and team have received extensive training with trauma, human traffic, slavery, domestic abuse, and Christianity faith-based life group training.  While our foundation is to love everyone we want to offer unconventional methods and options to help survivors and the hurting in their journey.
